Overview
Jayvon Brown, an associate in Fisher Phillips’ Los Angeles office, defends businesses in a wide range of workplace disputes including single-plaintiff lawsuits, wage and hour class actions, and representative actions under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). His litigation practice includes claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations.
In addition to his litigation work, Jayvon regularly advises employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws, including the California Labor Code, FMLA/CFRA, ADA, and FEHA. He counsels clients on matters such as workplace accommodations, terminations, employee discipline, handbooks, policies, and employment agreements. He also assists clients with government audits, DLSE hearings, and responses to DFEH/EEOC investigations.
